Suzie graduated from William Jessup University’s Substance Use Disorder course in 2014 and looks forward to receiving her certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor very soon. Suzie plans to continue her education by obtaining a degree in Psychology as soon as possible.
Suzie loves working in the field of addiction treatment because she personally understands the struggle of alcoholism. She truly enjoys being present for treatment clients; if she can put a smile on a client’s face, put hope back into their hearts, and educate them when she’s able, she knows she’s truly made a difference in someone’s life and it fuels her passion to continue learning and growing so that she can serve as the best resource possible. She loves “seeing clients on fire with passion for their own recovery”!
Outside of work, Suzie enjoys a good work-out, reading, puzzles, and games to keep her mind sharp. She also enjoys spending time with her family, which includes eight rescued cats! Suzie has been married for 29 years and has a 28-year-old son who’s currently in school to become a pharmacist.
