Suzi draws upon nearly 30 years experience studying and practicing various traditional healing arts and healing methods. She is an acupuncturist and herbalist, and practices and is informed by various forms of body centered awareness practices and she is dedicated to her own deep journey to health. She brings her years of experience and knowledge to those she works with and her desire and passion to see her clients empowered in their health and wellbeing. Suzi brings her medicine with a joy, grounded in a deep respect for Earth-based cultures’ approach to health and healing and the potency of the Spirit, Mind and Body connection. As a healing practitioner, Suzi is committed to grassroots health care that provides health care access to people based on their needs, wherever they find themselves in the stream of life’s circumstance. Suzi believes we are responsible for our health and she gives tools and practices that will begin a journey to living a balanced, fulfilled and healthy life.
Suzi holds a BA in International Relations from San Francisco State University; she is a California licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist since 2005 from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco; and she is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine credentialed through the National Board of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, NCCAOM. Suzi has been in private practice and has worked along side Master Acupuncturists and Herbalists, Li Fang Liang, famed fertility specialist in SF, and Robert Levine in Berkeley CA. She was a founding board member and organizer for The Women’s Healing Collective, a community service project offering traditional, non-industrial healing methods to some of the most vulnerable populations in the Bay Area. Over the past several years Suzi has worked at the Flux Acupuncture a Community Acupuncture Clinic, Acupuncture without Borders, and also has a private practice in Watsonville, CA. She also actively organizes in her spiritual community convening women’s circles and other ceremonies.
