Beth is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR). She received her degrees from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA with program emphasis on family systems, psychodynamic/Jungian theory, and creative therapeutic interventions.
Beth began her work in the mental health field supporting adults and adolescents recovering from severe psychiatric conditions. Her continued learning included training in experiential therapies such as equine-assisted therapy and expressive arts. Beth has been working in the substance use field for over 3 years in court-mandated drug and alcohol treatment as well as private treatment settings.
Beth’s approach to therapy and recovery is humanistic with an emphasis on attachment theory, understanding family systems and healing roots of addiction with self-compassion, self-acceptance, and mindfulness-based interventions. Beth believes that in life, recovery takes many different shapes and forms, and she is honored to be a part of each client’s process of personal growth and healing.
